Gal Meets Glam Sale to Shop Before August

A brand that I’ve never invested in buying but always longingly looked at is about to be put on hold. Julia from Gal Meets Glam made the heartbreaking announcement that the GMG collection would no longer be producing new products. She also announced that come August 8th, shopping directly through her site would no longer be available. I previously mentioned a Gal Meets Glam sale in my Memorial day sale post. However, those discounts have been getting better and better on the Gal Meets Glam site. I would assume that these large discounts are in an effort to sell out of everything via that site by August 8th.

Like I said before, I haven’t really invested too much money into the Gal Meets Glam collection. Sadly I was just never really able to afford it (even at the great discounts I found it at TJ Maxx for). Therefore, I don’t really have sizing recommendations other than the few dresses that I’ve recently been able to snag. What I can give guidance on however, is where to shop for Gal Meets Glam on sale even after August 8th.

Where to Get Gal Meets Glam on Sale After August 8th

I’m assuming once August 8th rolls around that shop.galmeetsglam.com will shut down, but all the partners of the Gal Meets Glam collection will continue to sell until they’ve run out. It’s safe to say that a good majority of these partners will have new markdowns on the Gal Meets Glam collection. Though it could take a little while for those markdowns to be reflected on newer items in the collection. Here are the stores to shop and keep your eyes on after August 8th.

Shopping for Myself

I just couldn’t pass up buying some Gal Meets Glam after hearing that the collection would no longer be produced. As much as I wanted to shop directly from the site, I still can’t afford the prices. (Though right now most everything is $40 or less). So I went on the hunt at TJ Maxx. I managed to snag 3 Gal Meets Glam dresses for $60. Sadly, they’re still on their way to me. I got 2 dresses in the petite sizing and 1 in a regular size. All of the dresses I ordered in my “normal” size. I typically wear anything from a 000-0 in most things. I was worried when I looked at the Gal Meets Glam size chart because those sizes had drastically different measurements. However, since receiving these dresses and trying them on they fit as usual. I would say all three that I ordered run true to size. My order said that I ordered one dress in a 00p, a 0p, and a 0. My ordered turned up with two 0p’s and one 0. Overall though, they fit great. The non petite size ends just after my knees and doesn’t really make a huge difference to me.
