Spring Stripes & Classic Denim Skirt

I’ve been finding it a little hard to share all the content I had planned out before Covid-19 broke out. Clearly I’ve had to change it up a little bit. I didn’t want to be completely insensitive to what’s going on throughout the world. At the same time, I don’t want it to consume my whole life either. It’s consumed enough of my time, energy, and peace of mind. So today I’m attempting to go back to that content schedule I had all planned out. Hopefully you all think this classic look of spring stripes and a denim skirt is as wearable at home as I do.

Spring Stripes

I always think that stripes are a very spring print, especially when they’re in a pastel color. Which is why I knew from the second I saw this shirt in TJ Maxx that it would become one of the most worn items in my closet. It’s not only a classic quarter sleeve shirt in stripes, but also in a pastel pink! Honestly, it could have been in just about any color and I would’ve worn it just as much. Even though I don’t consider myself a fan of pink, (who would guess with how much of it I own and wear) I’m living for this shirt and soon to be pink on pink combos.

Flamingo Frenzy

While wanting some sense of normalcy through going back to my content schedule, I also wanted to show off one of my favorite new purchases. I am 100% guilty of spending far too much money while I’ve been working from home. At least when I was still going into work the first couple weeks I could talk myself out of making purchases. Now with constant sales it seems like I can’t even go a day without making a purchase. But that’s not the point. The point is I purchased this adorable flamingo bag from my dupe post and had to show it off! Naturally I paired it with my favorite flamingo earrings to get the full effect.
