Ah, Fall in Florida. Where the lows are 72 and the highs are 90. It just doesn’t get any better than this. That’s really only slightly sarcastic. As a girl that loves clothes, the opportunity to change outfits halfway through the day is kind of awesome. But 90 degrees comes on pretty quickly so you gotta play it safe sometimes. The compromise I’ve found is layers in the morning and bright fall colors to bring an outfit all together. I’m just taking Fall one layer at a time.
Bright Fall Colors Outfit
The outfit is honestly pretty simple. You pick a neutral and then you pick a color that’s in your face obnoxious! In this case I chose a simple black tennis skirt and a bright pink tank blouse. I was going to wear some sort of cardigan or blazer but by the time I got out the door it was just too hot. To top it all off, a fun pair of polka dot Keds by Kate Spade.
Previous Outfit Inspo
Remember that time in my college post where I said I formerly tried to start a blog? Here it is coming up again. I wore a very similar outfit on my old blog. The bright fall colors are really my timeless accent. My outfit featured a polka dot cardigan that I now regret getting rid of. I really have a thing for polka dots so I wish that was this outfit. But alas. I have yet to find a cardigan with large polka dots that’s in my price range. If anyone finds one, please let me know!
Other Bright Fall Colors
Clearly pink isn’t the only bright fall color out there. Really any warm toned color is great for fall. Some of my other favorite bright fall colors include, fire truck red, safety orange, and yes, even some highlighter yellow. What screams Halloween and fall better than those three colors?!
