Summer Disney Outfits for Hot Park Days

We recently got back from a weekend trip to Walt Disney World. Now I’m always down for a Disney trip. But as you can imagine, it was hot. Planning Disney outfits for summer is a bit different from the rest of the year. Not by much, but slightly. When we found out that we’d be staying at the Beach Club Resort, I immediately started thinking of outfits. My main goal was to be able to wear some newer ears that I have. I’m pretty bad at wearing all my ears, so I wanted to be able to get a couple wears in. My second goal was to not melt in…

2021 Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot

What a time to be alive y’all! I mean, we actually might get to enjoy the entirety of the 2021 Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot this year! Last year got cut short because of Ms. Rona and we didn’t even get our Orange Bird Passholder magnet. It was a truly devastating time. Luckily, we know more about covid this year than we did last and can enjoy our outside time at Disney World. The Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 3rd – July 5th! 2021 Flower & Garden Festival Food I know, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the most awaited food item of festival season, Violet…

Bonnet Creek Disney World Weekend Trip

This weekend Michael and I had the most magical getaway at Bonnet Creek. For Christmas, Michael’s big gift to me was a weekend retreat on Disney Property. While we are passholders we don’t typically stay on property. (Actually, I think we’ve only done it maybe twice since becoming passholders). Since it’s not something we typically do at Disney, it was of course extra magical. Here’s a look at our weekend getaway at Bonnet Creek. 2021 Festival of the Arts at Epcot

Since Disney Worlds reopening the regular line-up of Festivals at Epcot have resumed. While we didn’t get to enjoy the full extend of the Flower & Garden Festival, all the others in 2020 were exceptional. One of my favorite festivals is back at Epcot now, the 2021 Festival of the Arts. I checked it out for the first time this weekend to see how they decided to run things with Covid. The Festival of the Arts is typically very hands on, and I’m glad to report 2021 is no different. The Festival runs from January 8 – February 22, 2021. 2021 Festival of the Arts Activities The Festival of the…

    The Holidays at Disney 2020

The holidays at Disney looks a little different in 2020. Covid has caused many theme parks to rethink their plans and strategies for the holidays. While I don’t agree with some of the decisions Disney has made during covid, that doesn’t mean I’m boycotting them either. As much as I may try to stay mad at Disney, they hold too much of my heart for me to ever leave them I think. So while there’s no Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party this year, I know that so much magic is in the Holidays at Disney (even in 2020). Disney Holidays in 2020 The holidays at Disney start this year on…

Zara Mickey Mouse Shorts at Disney World Re-Opening

Disney World is finally open again and I finally got to go to the parks this weekend! I managed to snap a reservation for my sisters birthday at Epcot. As excited as I was to go back, I’m overall extremely disappointed with the annual pass situation. Besides the fact that they charged me over $300 at the beginning of the month, they’ve fallen short in many other areas for passholders. One of those areas is how limited the access is for passholders. I do understand that as a passholder I am not their major money maker. However, I am their consistent money maker. But this post is not a roast…

    Epcot’s 2020 Flower & Garden Festival

Sadly my favorite Epcot festival has ended and it’s on to the next one. While the Festival of the Arts is always my favorite, the Flower & Garden Festival is a close second. Very appropriate as it piggybacks on the festival of the arts. The 2020 Flower & Garden Festival brings with it new merchandise, topiaries, and food items that I have to share with all you Disney lovers out there! Not to mention, the Plain White T’s are coming back and that’s pretty awesome. The festival runs from today (March 4th) until June 1st. 2020 Flower & Garden Festival Food We all know festival food is the best food…

The Ultimate Guide to a Disney Spring Break

With so much to do at Walt Disney World it can be hard to plan the ultimate Disney Spring Break. With only a week for spring break and 4 major parks at Disney, cramming it all in can be difficult. You’ll need to prioritize you Disney dreams to get it all done. Do you want to ride all the rides? Take the most iconic photos? Drink around the world and try all the food? The list is endless. I’m here to break it down for you so you can cover as much ground as possible on your Disney spring break. The Breakdown of a Disney Spring Break Like I said…

International Festival of the Arts 2020 at Epcot

My favorite festival of the year has arrived at Epcot, the International Festival of the Arts 2020! This festival is unique in so many ways (as every festival is at Epcot). As the name tells, this festival focuses on the Arts in every form. From music and paintings, to masterful food creation, this festival has something for everyone. The International Festival of the Arts runs from January 17 – February 24. Not quite as short as the Festival of the Holidays, but definitely one of the shorter festivals Epcot hosts. Highlights of the International Festival of the Arts 2020 I remember the first time I attended this festival. I had…

runDisney Experience at Walt Disney World

I’ve ran my fair share of runDisney races throughout the past few years. While I would not consider myself an “elite” runner, I would say that I take running very seriously. Which means when it comes to races, I’m not focusing on the experience but on my time, form, and resources. However, runDisney races are so different from any other sports event I’ve participated in. Also, this year I had to walk the last 8 miles of my marathon which is really how a majority of participants do runDisney events. Because of this 8 mile limp through the end of the course I got an inside look at why the…
