Let’s throw it back party people! This retro style skirt will make you want to move and grove. It’s one of my rentals this month from Nuuly and it’s gotten so much attention. (In all the right ways). The blue and green print gives it a retro style that any vintage lover can get behind. Even if retros not your thing, this skirt is great for getting your grove on. It’s made of a knit fabric so the stretch is amazing. Oh, and you can’t miss the pockets. They’re definitely a selling point for every skirt and dress. Classic Short Sleeve Sweater
As one may imagine, I’m a sucker for a short sleeve sweater. They’re a great substitute for long sleeves and still achieve that fall feeling. This is especially true in Florida. Now, I haven’t owned a short sleeve sweater in quite some time. I gave up a lot of clothes when I graduated college, and my favorite short sleeve sweater was one of them. It was royal blue with white bows printed on it. A total classic. Why I got rid of it? I couldn’t tell you. But that’s ok, because now I can try new ones instead. I thought I’d rent a short sleeve sweater from Nuuly to give…

Preppy Fall Style Outfits
Let it be said, it doesn’t happen often that I actually get to dress for fall when it’s fall. A variation of fall that includes shorts and tank tops, sure. But actual fall style? Forget it. This year has been kind to Florida though, and we actually experienced some fall weather in late September/early October. (Kind that it gave us that after a Cat 4 hurricane. If you can, here’s some ways you can help those affected by Hurricane Ian). So while we had some nice weather I took advantage of trying some preppy fall style…in fall. Amazon Halloween & Costume Finds
It goes without saying, but Amazon is one of the best places to find trendy fast fashion. If Halloween is for anything, it’s for trendy items that won’t always be worn year in and year out. So when it comes to finding Halloween items and costumes, Amazon can be the go to place. As much as I try not to succumb to fast fashion, it’s not always possible. (And that’s ok). When I do shop at Amazon or similar places, I try to be conscious of what I’m buying. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you I may make…

Warm Fall Florals
You have to be a little creative when it comes to fall in Florida. Sure blazers and turtlenecks and tall boots sound great, but have you ever worn them when it’s 90 degrees out? (I have. And I highly do not recommend it. It’s not worth the heat stroke). Instead I opt for warm fall florals in the form of dresses, skirts, and blouse (preferably sleeveless). When winter comes around it when I’ll start dressing like the rest of the world does for fall. But for now, a few warm fall florals in my wardrobe will have to do. Fall Wardrobe Basic: Mock Neck Tank
To be honest, not much changes in a Floridians wardrobe from summer to fall. It more often makes the change from summer to winter. One essential I love having in my wardrobe for fall though is a mock neck tank top. It’s not a full turtleneck and it doesn’t have sleeves so it’s great for “fall” in Florida. I highly recommend having at least 3 mock neck tanks in your closet. 2 solids (you can never go wrong with black and white) and 1 printed. That way you can mix and match and maximize the rest of your wardrobe. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links,…

Little Black Blazer Dress
Birds of a feather flock together! This blazer dress with feathers is the perfect outfit for fall! Two things that have been on my list to wear since I got engaged was a blazer dress and something with feathers (both in white of course). Neither of these came to fruition in my engagement period. This little black dress isn’t exactly what most would consider bridal. But the color and feathers are certainly great for fall. Elegant Leather Dress with Tulle
For the perfect amount of sugar and spice, combine leather and tulle. This elegant leather dress with tulle skirt is the perfect dress for a sophisticated and edgy look. It’s one of my latest rentals from Nuuly. I was attracted to the silhouette of this dress because its form fitted on the top and poofy on the bottom. The neckline is especially gorgeous and so flattering. Fall and winter are my favorite times to rent with Nuuly. Especially since those aren’t…

Barbiecore Inspired Outfit
A hot new bombshell enters the villa. Barbiecore needs no explanation. Barbie pink is the new cottagecore and it’s taking over this fall. What better way to try out the trend than with a classic pink tweed set? Well the trend may be called Barbiecore, this look pulls inspiration from a different icon. Jackie Kennedy might ring a bell for famously wearing an all pink suit. Jackie had impeccable style and was even friends with Lilly Pulitzer! Needless to say, she is where I pulled this outfit inspo from. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you I may make…

Perfect Zip Booties from Sarah Flint
I had the privilege of trying the Perfect Zip Booties from Sarah Flint recently. While I didn’t end up keeping them, (because Florida will only permit so many boots in my wardrobe) I wanted to give a quick rundown and review of them. However, if I lived almost anywhere else, I definitely would have bought these investment boots. $50 off your 1st pair of Sarah Flint Shoes Review of the Perfect Zip Booties The Perfect Zip Booties come in 2 different heel heights and 5 different colors. When it comes to boots, there’s definitely a perfect zip for everyone. While I typically prefer a lower heel, I tried the taller…
