My family and I set sail on a once in a lifetime cruise around Greece and Turkey. While our original plan was to take a Holy Land cruise to Israel and Egypt, current events said otherwise. (Though it is still on my personal bucket list to visit Egypt). As a girl who is obsessed with all things white and blue, I knew that Greece would not disappoint. And after choosing a green color palette for our trip to Napa Valley, I was ready to jump back into blues and whites for this trip.

Outfits I Wore in Greece
Of the seven nights while on the cruise, four days were scheduled to take place in Greece. Ports of call included Athens, Kavala, Santorini, and Mykonos. Unfortunately, our day in Mykonos was canceled due to high winds. But I still took advantage of our day at sea to wear what I would have worn on the island (just with sandals instead of sneakers). Between excursions and dinner in the main dining rooms each day, I got to wear plenty of the outfits I packed.
Turkey & Travel Days
I was so excited that this cruise also went to Turkey. My friend is from Turkey and I loved that I got the opportunity to visit where she is from. If I went again, I think I’d prefer for her to be my guide. We stopped at two ports in Turkey that included two days in Istanbul and one day in Kusadasi. While I’d venture to say we’ve all heard of Istanbul (was Constantinople), Kusadasi is home to one of the ancient 7 wonders of the world. The Temple of Artemis was located in Kusadasi in ancient times and sadly has been destroyed. A single column is currently erected at the site and there are plans to get back remaining artifacts and pieces of the temple which are currently held by British Museum. Though we only spent 3 days in Turkey, it was an amazing place to visit.
