When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a fashion designer. I had a mini sewing machine and fun paper cutouts to make new outfits. That dream has since passed, but sometimes the spark comes back. Typically when I have a vision in my head for something and can’t find it anywhere. That’s the case with these bow slippers that I DIY’d for the holiday season. I’m obsessed with tartan this time of year. Whether it’s a dress, pjs, or a blouse, I want it all in my closet. When I purchased me and my husband matching pajamas for my parents holiday brunch, I knew immediately I wanted fun bow slippers to complete the ensemble. But tracking down tartan slippers with bows? Hard to find. So I did the next best thing and bought these slippers from Target and some holiday bows from Marshall’s to do a simple DIY.
