Where Wednesday

Dreamer Miami

Today I’m introducing a new segment that I’m ecstatic about. It’s called Where Wednesday and I’m so excited to finally share it with you guys! These post are slightly different from my Local Haunts in that, they are not always local (aka, not Orlando). The first place to be featured is Dreamer Miami.

Discovering Dreamer Miami on Insta

My favorite ways to discover new places is through Instagram. Looking at what’s close by or what others have discovered is a great way to find a new favorite place. I discovered Dreamer Miami this way (while I was scrolling through the “discover” tab on Instagram). You also may have noticed that Dreamer was my shoot location for one of my previous post on my favorite black romper.

What caught my eye in Dreamers post was the decor. I mean hello, flamingos! I was thrilled to find that it was located in Miami. It just so happens that I had a couple of weekend trips planned to South Florida. Going to Dreamer fit into my schedule perfectly. And let’s be real, after seeing those flamingos, how could I not?

Dreamer Food

One of my worst fears when I find these “hip” new places on social media is that they won’t live up to the hype. The food will be awful, the service will be poor, and the place will be crowded. I am relieved to say I had none of these problems. It was a very relaxed morning, and even though it wasn’t the biggest restaurant I’ve been to it wasn’t cramped.

While I wouldn’t say I ordered what Dreamer is known for (Acai Bowls) I did order that days special, which was avocado toast topped with smoked salmon. I don’t think you can really mess up avocado toast, but I do know this was the best avocado toast I’ve ever had! Dreamer should be known for their avocado toast just as much as their acai bowl. I also ordered an Americano. There should always be something said for good coffee (there’s so much bad coffee out there you should note the good ones).
