Sadly my favorite Epcot festival has ended and it’s on to the next one. While the Festival of the Arts is always my favorite, the Flower & Garden Festival is a close second. Very appropriate as it piggybacks on the festival of the arts. The 2020 Flower & Garden Festival brings with it new merchandise, topiaries, and food items that I have to share with all you Disney lovers out there! Not to mention, the Plain White T’s are coming back and that’s pretty awesome. The festival runs from today (March 4th) until June 1st.
2020 Flower & Garden Festival Food
We all know festival food is the best food in the parks. This year the Honey Bistro will be back with even more delicious creations. Click here to see the full menu from around the world showcase. I’m looking forward to finally trying the frose from France (that I’ve heard is just to die for). And of course we can’t forget the Flower & Garden fan favorite, violet lemonade!
2020 Flower & Garden Merchandise
Last year the merchandise for the festival was hands down, the most amazing yet. BUT this year they’ve topped it all with just a single item, the Orange Bird ears. One of my favorite Disney mugs is the Flower & Garden festival passholder mug from 2018 that features this cute little bird. Needless to say, I am head over heals for this years festival ears! Rumor also has it that the orange bird sipper cup will be returning this year. As always, just take my money Disney!
Passholder Magnet Exclusive
There’s never a time that I don’t love the passholder exclusive magnets. But I seriously can’t wait for these! I mean, the orange bird?! How cute! You can pick them up at the Mousegears Temporary location, which is located near the old Ellen ride (and soon to be Guardians ride). Donald Duck & Spike the Bee will be available March 4 – April 19 and the Orange Bird will be available April 20 – June 1.
Topiaries around Epcot
Every festival has a unique aspect about it. The topiaries and vibrant flowers are what makes Flower and Garden so special. Whether it’s a larger than life butterfly or a scene from your favorite Disney movie, be sure to keep your eye out for some gorgeous sites. I am also personally shocked that they somehow managed to fit the butterfly garden in with all the construction.
