As I look at the forecast for this weekend, I’m preparing for the worst (though Florida’s weather forecast changes day to day). These are the times I wish I wasn’t stubborn and used a winter coat, because in Florida, 60 degrees is basically freezing. Instead, I just pull out some jeans, a 3/4 tee, and maybe a vest.
This outfit seems to suffice for when it finally warms up to 60 degrees in the afternoon, but not so much when it’s 40 in the morning. I received this vest from SheIn and wasn’t expecting anything too grand or miraculous, but I actually love it. It’s not a giant puffer vest, so I don’t feel like Baymax, but it does make the perfect layer for those cooler temperatures.
I paired this grey vest with one of my favorite 3/4 tees (which you’ve probably seen before). The 3/4 tee is a staple in anyones wardrobe, but especially a Floridians because it is so versatile. It can be used in the winter and fall to keep you warmer, or used in the summer as a cover up. Added bonus if it’s got these fun Florida themed palm trees, right?
Overall, adding a lightweight vest to an outfit can really take it to the next level. Even if it’s not so cold in Florida, a light vest can keep you up to date in the fashion world (you know, the one that changes with the 4 seasons).
