Instead of spending $500+ on a formal prom dress, I went with a prom dress that was much more affordable. I saved up all my babysitting money from the year so that I could splurge on a $200 dress for prom. It wasn’t at all my $500 Sherri Hill dream dress, but I love it to this day.
