Love is in the air and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Valentine’s Day is probably one of my favorite holidays to dress for. Even before Christmas (though it is a close second). I think it’s because there is such a short time to dress for it. Christmas you have at least a whole month to enjoy, but Valentine’s Day is only half a month. Regardless, February is a month for heart print through and through. Whether you sport a heart print on a blouse, shoes, or a coat, it’ll be sure to fit the season of love.

This heart print coat was a last minute add to my Nuuly rental for the month. The reviews were so so. But they must have been for people who live up north because they were complaining about it not being warm. However, even on a chilly Florida morning (we’re talking 40s) I was plenty warm. I definitely questioned what I would pair this coat with. Pants were a good place to start but I wasn’t sure what top would look good. Luckily, I have a handful of red tops that paired perfectly with this coat and some white pants.
I also have a pair of heart shaped ear muffs that are just too cute. I don’t get to wear them often (the last time I wore them was for Valentine’s Day in Baltimore last year!) But like I said, it was chilly this shoot morning and the ear muffs were the perfect accessory. Unfortunately, I found these cuties with a mug set at TJ Maxx and haven’t been able to locate them since. Very rarely they come back in stock at Boohoo, but that’s really a hit or a miss. Regardless, a pair of red ear muffs would look equally as adorable with this look, even if they’re not shaped like hearts.
