I have to admit something, I’m obsessed with this mock neck tank from my sister. Soon I’ll just have to give her some cash for it because I swear I wear it more than she does. There’s just something about it that screams elegance and winter to me. Which is why I knew I had to wear it for this holly jolly Christmas outfit. I tend to switch what I wear every year for Christmas. For example, one year I’m dressy, another I’m casual, some years I’m both. It’s just all over the place. My main goal this year was just to be festive, and I think this bit of holly jolly fun does that.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas
Can you even believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow?! I certainly can’t. I just finished all my Christmas shopping on Saturday (thank God for Amazon) and still haven’t wrapped them all yet! It seems like no matter how soon I start shopping for Christmas I always come down to the wire. Is anyone else the same way? Maybe I should start gift shopping in June, but then I’d have to hide them longer.
As much as I love holiday fashion and gift shopping, I know there’s so much more to Christmas. I often forget to be “holly jolly” between Thanksgiving and now because I’m so wrapped up in it all. (Pun intended). The cookies have to look perfect, the presents have to be wrapped nice. My list of perfection has to be checked. Every. Single. Year. Just typing this has me all worked up!
From now until New Year I’m going to try and take a deep breath and just enjoy it all. Heck, maybe I should make it a New Years resolution to work on. I hope that you and yours have a very Holly Jolly Merry Christmas this year! Enjoy your time together and remember not to get wrapped up in all the presents and gifts.
Buffalo Check Skirt
A year ago I would have hated pulling outfit inspiration from my younger sister. But as she continues to grow older and creates her own sense of style I can’t get over her outfits. I mean seriously, she is putting together some really cute stuff. Granted, it’s not always age or school appropriate, but those are just the growing pains of fashion.
So why do I even mention my sister? Because I borrowed this skirt from her too! Is it not so cute? She styles it with a bit more edge than I do but that’s just her personal style.
