Even though we’ve (thankfully) had some pretty gorgeous fall weather in Florida this week, it sadly will not last. Inevitably, the temperatures will rise again before the month ends and it’ll be what is Floridians call, Summer Junior. When Summer Jr. eventually comes knocking, it’ll be like a switch from “not sweating” to “sweating”. Luckily, I’ve been embracing Summer Jr. better this year than any year before. At least, I feel like I have. One way I’ve been embracing it is by still wearing shorts. I purchased these white shorts over the summer and they’ve become a staple in my wardrobe. Not just for summer, but for fall as well. Here’s two ways I’ve styled these white shorts for fall already. And next time Summer Jr. shows up, I’ll be ready with even more ways to style them.

White Shorts for Fall
Shorts can get a bad reputation for not being dressy. But tailored shorts at the right length can be the perfect alternative to a dressier option like a skirt. Needless to say, these shorts have been perfect already for fall. Expect to see them a lot more throughout the season!
White Shorts & Long Sleeve Polo
For a classic preppy look, try pairing shorts with a long sleeve polo. Target recently released a collaboration with Rowing Blazers and it’s full of preppy items for fall. I picked up a cropped printed polo and it’s already become one of my favorite purchases this fall.
White Shorts & Sweater Vest
Shameless Target plug, but I also picked up a printed sweater vest during my same visit. Long sleeve sweaters aren’t the best for Florida. While I do own a handful of them, I rarely get to wear them unless I’m traveling. A sweater vest is the best of both worlds. A soft knit fabric, with breathability. I’m looking forward to (hopefully) layering it during the winter months. Assuming winter decides to show up for a few days in Florida!
