Lilly Pulitzer 2021 Online Sale Previews
Thanks to fellow bloggers we all get to see a little preview before the sale starts. (Thank God for those insiders right!) Typically I can count on a few tell-tale bloggers for these insights. However, as 2020 would have it, radio silence on the last day of the year. I do believe Kelly in the City & Lonestar Southern will share something after the new year though. So be sure to look out for them (no promises that they will. Maybe they won’t). This sale I found these previews from Wear Bows & Smile. I’ve been following her on Instagram for quite some time so I’m happy to see she got some preview insights!
Need To Know Information
Because this sale is mostly online there are a few things you should know/keep in mind. Also be sure to check out more tips and tricks from past Lilly Pulitzer Sales (not just the 2021 online one) below.
- There will be restocks. This means that even though an item sells out on the first day of the sale, it has the potential to come back. What items will restock? That’s not information they really give out. So if you know you want it, and it’s in your size, snag it ASAP.
- New Products. Along with these restocks, there will also be new items added throughout the sale. Stay alert to score some awesome deals on some of past seasons favorites.
- Early Access at Select Stores. Lilly is really pushing the online sale. However, in-store sales & previews will still be happening from January 3rd-5th. ONLY at select stores so be sure to check the list.
Tips & Tricks for Shopping the Lilly Pulitzer 2021 Online Sale
Update Your Billing & Shipping Information
This is the No. 1 tip that Lilly gives! Go right now to LillyPulitzer.com and update your billing and shipping info. It takes 10 minutes tops to do now, but trust me, those 10 minutes during the sale can mean getting products and not. While you’re at it, remember to write down all your log in information so you don’t forget it when the Summer 2020 Lilly Pulitzer APS starts!
Get in the Virtual Line Early
Odds are, you won’t get into the sale right at 8am on Monday. The Lilly website can only handle so many visitors at one time and the virtual line helps the website from crashing. I’d personally rather wait in a virtual line all day then have the website crash when I’m finally going to check out. You can get to the site 5-10 minutes early and refresh the page once or twice before 8am. Once you’re in line and in the sale, DO NOT HIT REFRESH. If you refresh the page, you’ll be put at the end of the virtual line and have to wait all over again.
Use Filters
I cannot stress this enough. When shopping the sale put on your size filter. This works to your advantage for a couple of reasons. First, it will only show you items that are still available in your size. This saves you from the disappointment of seeing items that aren’t in your size to begin with. Second, it allows you to shop the sale faster. Remember what I said, time is of the essence. There’s no guarantee that what you put in your cart 10 minutes before will be there when you check out. Eliminating the items that aren’t in your size will allow you to navigate the sale more efficiently.
