Expect the Unexpected – Lilly Pulitzer Cicely Dress
I should really know better from all the After Party Sales that I’ve shopped that Lilly always delivers sooner than expected. Quite frankly, Lilly’s delivery of APS items gets better and better every Sale. This year I am just completely blown away though! 2-day delivery? That’s like, better than my experience with Amazon half the time! I know this speed shipping doesn’t happen for everyone. Lilly does tell you before you shop that it could take 4-6 weeks for your purchase to arrive. But we all know, it’s well worth waiting for! If you haven’t received your purchase yet, I sincerely hope that you do soon. (And to tide you over, I bet Lilly dropped a great little promo code in your inbox).
Green with Envy
When I showed off this dress on Wednesday to my household the resounding comment was, “I’d love it if it was in *insert every color but green here*”. You may 100% agree with this statement. But I’d like to tell you, Lilly Pulitzer made this dress for ME. It hits all my dream dress requirements: ruffles, lace, and GREEN!
You see, my favorite color is green. Particularly Volt Green or the green of Tinker Bells Dress. I have seen many greens out there that just don’t work on clothing. With so many ugly variations of green, it can be hard to find the perfect shade on a dress. This Lilly Pulitzer cicely dress does this so so well. It has completely exceeded my expectations in a dress. I’m so glad I left the sale to checkout for this baby. It was worth every item that I left behind. (And that I’m now shopping for on Poshmark).
