Another year has come and gone. If you’re like me, you have a planner full of your greatest ideas…from last year. While you should totally keep whatever stickers were included with your planner, what are you supposed to do with the rest of it? I just don’t have the heart to throw out a cute Lilly Pulitzer planner. In come Lilly Pulitzer crafts to save the day! These crafts are a great way to use those printed pages from an old planner. Just save those stickers for your newest planner.
5 Lilly Pulitzer Crafts
Before we start you should know that you don’t need to have an old Lilly or printed planner to do these crafts. You can always print out your favorite Lilly print on normal paper and use them to create these Lilly Pulitzer crafts.
Lilly Pulitzer Coasters
This is probably one of my favorite ideas from the bunch. I own a set of Lilly coasters and adore them. However, they are made of porcelain so they make better eye candy than coasters in my opinion. With these coasters being made of extra planner paper, I don’t feel as bad using them or if they get a little destroyed. All you need for this DIY is some plain coasters as a base (whether they be cork, stone, or wood material) some paper, and waterproof mod podge. Use the mod podge to coat the paper on both sides and create a waterproof seal. Then use your coasters to your heart content!
Serving Tray
Another great functional and cute DIY. A wooden tray lined with your favorite Lilly Pulitzer print! This is just as easy as the coasters. Pick a base color to paint the rest of the tray that goes well with the print you choose. Let it dry. Then attach the print you want to the inside of the tray using your best friend, modge podge.
Lilly Pulitzer Letters
I am monogrammed obsessed. Not with my whole monogram, but just with the first letter of my name, D. I have a whole wall of the letter D in the works at my place right now. This is a great way to add another letter to the wall! Pull out that modge podge and your Lilly planner scraps and start gluing. You can do this for a single letter, your entire monogram, or your full name. This is also a great idea for a big/little basket craft.
Custom Photo Frame
I feel like it goes without saying at this point that you’ll need modge podge for this. Pick your frame and your prints and glue, glue, glue. This is another craft great for an upcoming big/little basket.
Key & Clothes Hooks
I had trouble deciding which craft to pick as the last one to include. It was between this hook and a bangle. I went with the simpler of the two. This DIY is along the same lines of the serving tray. It’s a great place to hang your outfit for the next day or for you to hang your car keys and purse.
