My T. J. Maxx finds lately have been ridiculous. It’s like every time I go, I find some new Lilly Pulitzer. One of my favorite finds in the past month at T.J. has been this Lilly Pulitzer off the shoulder top. I just couldn’t pass up the pattern on this top: “A Jungle in Here” in Bright Navy.
Lilly Pulitzer Tobyn Off the Shoulder Top
I have a love/hate relationship with off the shoulder tops. They are really cute and adorable but I usually get the sensation that my bra strap is falling when I wear them. That’s why I like the elastic in this top because it mentally reminds me that, I’m not wearing a shirt or bra with straps. Therefore I don’t always feel the need to check my arms and pull up the top. Another way I trick my mind into not instinctually pulling up my straps is by wearing cold shoulder tops. Because these tops have a strap and fall off the shoulder my brain feels secure in what I’m wearing. Do you ever feel this way when wearing strapless clothing?
