With Thanksgiving over it is officially time to get into the Christmas season! I tried to prepare myself a few weeks ago after Halloween and I just wasn’t quite ready to go full on holiday yet. But the tree went up this weekend and the decorations are starting to finish. It’s Christmas now. What better way to officially start the holiday season then with more plaid?! So I’m pulling out my favorite tartan skirt for the season and sharing another outfit. Because really is there such thing as too much holiday plaid?

So I have a confession. I had never seen a single episode of Gossip Girl until the last month. Not a single. one. But my friend suggested I watch it and said I have such Blair Waldorf style. So of course I had to watch some of it, right? I’m still not that far into it but I can see what she means. Blair has a classic style with some fun notes. While some things I wouldn’t be caught dead in, other outfits I can see me shine through. This outfit to me is totally Blair style. A skirt, a bow, a collar, and then of course a finishing clutch. Again, not saying I’d wear almost anything that Blair does but, I feel like this outfit pulls from her aura.

Holiday Plaid & Tartan
Whatever term you use this holiday season, tartan, plaid, check, remember it doesn’t really matter what it’s called. My biggest pet peeve when looking for holiday plaid is not using the correct term and turning up empty handed. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect holiday print for an outfit or home decor, trying using all 3 search terms. It may be a pain to search for all 3 but trust me, they can turn out exactly what you’re looking for.
