The praises I could sing about this Nicholas dress…I could easily fill a page of beautiful adjectives describing how perfect it is! When it arrived from Rent the Runway, I was initially disappointed. It wasn’t as white as I was hoping it would be. It seemed lack luster on the hanger and was slightly wrinkled due to travel. But all of those disappointments vanished the second I put it on. The fit was impeccable, like it was tailored just for me. And while the white wasn’t as bright white as I was hoping, it wasn’t as noticeable on.

I wore this dress on multiple different occasions, including in a Florida thunderstorm! I mostly wore it to bridal appointments like looking for bridesmaid dresses. While I really wanted to wear it to my own dress appointment, it was suggested I wore something that might look better with a t-shirt. Thankfully I listened to that suggestion because my mom had made me a shirt that said “Bride” for the occasion. But who knows, maybe for my fitting I’ll rent this dress to wear. Or maybe just for other bridal occasions because it really was the perfect dress for it. (Especially with the Neely & Chloe Mini Lady!)
Investing in a Nicholas Dress
Without a doubt I can say I will end up investing in a Nicholas dress in the future. The cut, fit, and fun of this dress is just too good to pass up! Though I’m glad I rented it to find out first! Now I know it’s splurge worthy! Not to mention, this style Nicholas dress comes in many other prints that I could easily fall in love with. I can absolutely see it being one of those pieces you buy in every color and pattern. (Except I definitely can’t afford that!) IT’s probably best to just start with one and work my way to more throughout the years.
