The weather this past week in Orlando has been ah-maz-ing. 80 degrees to some people is too hot, especially in February, but frankly, I’d love if we had this summery weather all year round! Looking ahead at the week, it looks like it will get chilly again (chilly, in the 70’s. Grab your coats!) That’s not going to stop me from sharing how perfect the weather has been, and how great it was this weekend! Clouds can’t keep me down in this heat, and soaking up the sun is just what the doctor ordered for this weekend!
Sunday, I grabbed coffee with a friend and then got ready for a cookout. There could not have been a more perfect day for this. It might have well been the Fourth of July, the weather was that perfect summer weather, breeze and all. Those of you that headed south this weekend for the Disney Princess Half Marathon really had a treat with this perfect weather. Years past may have called for coats, but this weekend you could run in true Florida fashion!
Since this weekend was basically summer, I pulled out some Lilly Pulitzer shorts, grabbed a cute tank top that I snagged from Target on clearance in the fall, and put on some sandals. This outfit skips Spring and jumps right to the best season of the year, Summer. After all, you know what they say: Winter’s a good time to stay in and cuddle but put me in Summer and I’ll be a…Happy Danielle!
