Chicwish is a brand I’ve been wanting to try for awhile now. They have a mix of trendy and timeless pieces on their website. I’m not a fan of the trendier pieces, but there’s a vintage elegance to their timeless pieces that I’ve always been drawn to. Kind of like ModCloth, but with a much wider selection. With so many options, it was hard to choose a few to try out for the first time. I ultimately settled on a dress, a couple of skirts (great for mixing and matching!), and a swimsuit that was just too cute to pass up. Here’s how I styled them with items already in…

One Year Anniversary
This post is sponsored by AW Bridal. All opinions are my own. Results may vary. Our one year wedding anniversary has officially come and gone. In a blink of an eye and eternity all at once, we’ve been married for a whole year! (Plus, some change). It feels like the world pressures couples into planning big anniversary plans. More gifts, a big night out, and seemingly no time alone. We didn’t make elaborate plans to celebrate our one year anniversary. Choosing to have a night more intimate and spend quality time with each other. Our lives have always been “go, go, go”, even before we got married. So it was…

Spring New Arrivals at LOFT
LOFT’s marketing emails got me good last week. They offered a $25 off coupon on top of already applied discounts. I usually try to ignore marketing emails (if I didn’t I’d be broke, amiright?!) but a coupon like that is just too good to pass up! I had been eyeing some of the new arrivals at LOFT so decided why not go back and take another look? Guys, the LOFT new arrivals are so good. Better than the first time I looked! But even with a great coupon I had to be money conscious. (If you’ve been following on Instagram, you’ll know I’m about to buy a house). So while…

Romantic Print Vine Dress from Hill House
As soon as I saw Hill House release their Spring 2023 collection, I knew I was in trouble. I wanted pretty much everything. And I do mean everything. (It was like the fall collection all over again). The prints and patterns that were created for this drop were romantic florals and vines. (One of my favorite patterns). Not just that, but also in green, which is my favorite color! I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist purchasing something. It was just a matter of which thing. Timeless Spring Wedding Inspo
It’s hard to believe it’s been one whole year since our wedding. It’s seemed like a lifetime and yet no time at all. I’ve shared bits and pieces of our big day throughout the past year, but I think it’s time to have a dedicated post to the big day! To those that have been here, thanks for sticking around. For those that are new, welcome to the party! I hope future brides can use some of our big day for spring wedding inspo of their own. Unlike my Pinterest board growing up, there was no real “theme” to our wedding perse. For the most part, we tried to keep…

Spring Green Hill House Dress
Some things never change, like my love for green in spring! Whether it’s a true sage green, or something a little darker, I want to wear it all in spring. In years past I’ve struggled to add green to my wardrobe. Not that I couldn’t find a nice green (it’s my favorite color, I love it all) just that I didn’t love a lot of the silhouettes that were available. This all started to change about a year ago. More tops and dresses in green were available for spring and I loved them all. Very dangerous for a fashion lover like me. And the fabulous green pieces haven’t stopped since…

Green Dress from Hill House
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I’ve been wearing a lot of Hill House and a lot of green. Green is my favorite color, but I didn’t have a ton of green in my closet. For the past year, I’ve been taking the time to invest in pieces that I love that can be used more in my closet. Once I finally tried the Nap Dress, I knew it would become an item that I’d buy more of. It’s not only flattering, but ultra comfortable and versatile. When I saw this green nap dress on sale from Hill House for under $50, I couldn’t pass…

Pink and Red Contrast Cardigan
As February comes to a close, it’s time to start repurposing the pink and red in your closet for spring and summer. I bought this pink and red contrast cardigan after renting it from Nuuly this month and now I’m left thinking, can I only wear it in February? While I obviously love to plan Valentine’s Day outfits with hearts and all things pink, this cardigan can easily be worn in spring as well. It’s time to put away the statement heart earrings, and switch them out with something a little more spring. Valentine’s Work Outfit
I’ve always loved dressing for holidays at the office. Whether it’s Christmas, the 4th or July, I’ve always enjoyed matching my outfits to the season. Valentine’s Day is no different when it comes to picking a work outfit. In fact, I’ve worn a Valentine’s inspired work outfit every day since the beginning of February. Valentine’s Mini Dress in Pink and Red
My favorite color combo is making a comeback! This time as a Valentine’s mini dress! Pink and red is one of my favorite color combinations to wear, especially during February. You may recall previous outfit combinations using these colors. Or even the midi bow dress from last year. This year’s Valentine’s dress is very similar to the midi from last year, just in mini form! They both still feature a beautiful big bow on the front. (The bigger the better as far as I’m concerned). And the same great color combination, though the shades of red and pink may just be slightly different. Disclosure: Some of the links in this…
