Well y’all it’s pretty obvious that this Orlando weather can’t make up it’s mind lately. It’s been a scorcher this week but it looks like it’s going to take a turn again for cooler temperatures (this has been your weekly weather report with Danielle). Before all of this warm weather disappears I wanted to share my favorite little white dress.
Many of my other Orlando Fashion Bloggers are attending an event tomorrow night called Diner en Blanc. Diner en Blanc has been going on for over 30 years and originally started in France. Guest arrive at an undisclosed location dressed in all white, a truely spectacular site to see. Though I’m not able to attend the event this year, I’ll be sure to keep my eye on the event page for next years. Also note, this event takes place all over the world, so maybe there’s a location near you. I still wanted to participate from afar by wearing white today. Not to mention, with the hear Orlando has had this week the white is keeping me from melting in the sun.
I love this dress because of its shift silhouette. If I haven’t mentioned before how much I love a shift dress, let me do it now. No one looks bad in a shift dress, I mean no one. It’s made with all body types in mind and it so flattering. I also love this dress because of the scallop trim. It adds such a feminine touch to it. While everyone at Diner en Blanc I’m sure is wearing white shoes and accessories, I needed a pop of color. I’m not trying to look like snow here, it’s not winter yet. I added these bright pink heels that I got on sale from Target for $8.00! How could anyone pass up that amazing deal on cute shoes? Target has such great clearance, but I recommend shopping in stores because everything online seems to take longer to mark down. Who doesn’t love making a Target run though, am I right? One last thing, Target is having an amazing deal right now called “Style Stock Up” where you get $10 when you spend $50 or $25 when you spend $100 on all clothing and accessories. It might be worth a look.

I love how you participated in the fashion event in your own way! The heels looks great with the dress. I’m all for a pop of color, and a bargain! You’re right – who can pass up a Target run? They have everything! I usually walk in for one or two items and wind up walking out with cute office supply, a shirt, and something from the dollar section. 😛 Thanks for sharing, Danielle!
