I came up with the reasonably lavish idea from a magazine. Magazines are one of my favorite things to read, even if it’s just reading all the headliners while waiting in line at the grocery store. I get lucky and just have magazines show up at my house for free without subscribing to them. (I mean not that Seventeen is 100% relatable anymore but hey they keep sending it to me). One of my new favorite magazines is the HGTV Magazine that I “borrow” from my mom. By borrow I mean, thanks for the magazines mom!
Even if they’re a couple months old I could look at them forever. One of my favorite things in the HGTV Magazine is the “High/Low List”. It’s where they find items that look basically identical but one has a high price tag and one has a low price tag. It got me thinking that this could work for more than just home décor. She rocks this polka dot dress from Kate Spade and it is basically identical to the dupe from SheIn. Not to mention, polka dots are one of my all time favorite prints.
