Everything that I ordered from Lilly Pulitzer and the Nordstrom Better Together sale have finally arrived. I don’t want to complain on how long the shipping took but I will say that the Lilly took longer than an APS purchase. Certainly not something I’m used to. Regardless of the shipping time (which I knew could be lengthy) I’m really happy with the recent purchases I’ve made.
I have always felt that I shop equally in stores and online but, I guess I’m wrong. I have spent significantly less since staying at home. At least, that’s what my bank account says. I can recall at least 3 “major purchases” I’ve made online in the past month and a half. Which I suppose is less than the shopping in stores every weekend that I’m used to. The number don’t lie I suppose. Staying at home and online shopping has certainly done my bank account some good.

I’ll be honest, I try really hard not to shop every sale that I share on here. I know, scandalous. That’s usually because I’ve already bought items when they weren’t on sale, or didn’t have as great a deal. Mostly I share the sales in hopes that you won’t make the same mistake I did of not waiting for a sale to get the best price. I’m so guilty of not waiting for items to be marked down. In a world that’s all about instant gratification I think that’s easy enough to understand. During the Nordstrom sale I really wasn’t intending to buy as much as I did. I really only had my eye on the one J.Crew dress. The more I shopped throughout the day, the more deals I couldn’t pass up. I will give myself a small pat on the back though because I did remove 3 or 4 things from my cart that could have racked up the cost.

I am SO happy & excited to share my newest additions to my Lilly Pulitzer collection. I bought both of them when Lilly was offering 30% off site wide. They are both a gorgeous green & pink pattern. One color combination that I absolutely adore is green and pink. It’s like the perfect combination of me as a little girl and me as I’ve gotten older. My favorite color used to be pink. You know, because of princesses. As I got older my new favorite fairytale/Disney character became Tinker Bell. To this day she is still my favorite and is 100% the reason my favorite color is green. I fell in love with her green dress and have been hooked on the color ever since. Both dresses took awhile to arrive but they were well worth the wait, don’t you think?
