Hold on a second, did hell freeze over? Where is the blue? Where are the greens? Have I really switched from cool to warm florals? Well…yes and no. I still find myself drawn to every blue floral anything currently on the market. But I can’t only wear blue for the rest of my life. (Why not? There is no real answer. I very much could wear blue florals the rest of my life). I wanted to expand into other colors though. This red floral dress from Tory Burch seemed like as good as any to do that. At the very least I liked the floral pattern, even if I ended up not liking the red. Online and out of the box I was still very much on the fence. But then I tried it on. (I kind of hate when that happens, don’t you?) I felt like I needed to go every where in this dress. To work, the grocery store, a game of croquet, you name it. The shape was so flatter and the quality was exquisite. For that alone I’d love this dress in any color, print, or pattern it came in.

Falling in Love, But Not Sold
There is one thing that I’m still not sold on when it comes to red floral dresses…I’m just not drawn to them like I am blues and greens right now. Even with how much I love this dress, I still look at other red florals and go “meh”. Maybe I just need to try them on? Or maybe I’ll be more into them as fall rolls around. Either way, right now blue floral is still reigning supreme in my closet. At least until the end of the summer. Maybe I’ll just add a few sprinkles of red, pink, and orange throughout the rest of the summer.
