Spring Break Essentials for Florida 2020

I can’t even begin to explain to you how badly I miss spring break. Whether it was elementary school and I was traveling to Ohio for spring break or in college traveling to Florida, I loved spring break. Typically as an adult, spring break no longer exist. If you have a kid on spring break you might not even be able to enjoy the whole week with them. If you don’t have a kid you might as well just kiss spring break goodbye. To keep the feeling alive I’m sharing my ultimate list of spring break essentials that you need for Florida.

The Ultimate List of Spring Break Essentials

Whether you’re traveling to South Beach or exploring Jacksonville, here are some absolute necessities while traveling through the sunshine state.

Hat // My go to hat when traveling throughout Florida or going to the beach is always a sunhat. Something with a wide rim so that I can be covered when I forget to re-apply (or even apply to begin with) sunscreen throughout the day.

Swimsuit // Odds are you will probably make it to some body of water while on spring break in Florida. Don’t forget to pack the cutest suit(s) you have. Check out just a few of my favorite Amazon swimsuits under $30 here.

Polaroid Camera // By far a fan favorite in recent years is the Polaroid camera. It allows for instant satisfaction and screams spring break and the beach no matter how you choose to display them. Not to mention, they come in tons of cute colors.

Shorts // Another article of clothing you should never be caught dead without in Florida is shorts. I personally consider myself a skirt/dress person and I still own at least 10 pairs of shorts. They make it easy to relax and take in all that vitamin D you’ll be getting.

Sandals // What is the beach and warm temperatures without some sandals? A casual pair of flip flops will always suffice but over the past 6 months I’ve discovered my favorite pair of sandals to be these stylish and hella comfortable slides.

Sunglasses // Florida isn’t called the sunshine state for nothing. While mid-day rain showers happen fairly frequently they only last for about 5-10 minutes. When the sun peeks back out you’ll really want those sunnies handy.
