Amazon Fashion Finds Recommended By Bloggers

Since I try and be fast fashion conscious, I don’t shop on Amazon for fashion nearly as much as I used to. I used to see something cute, add to cart, and wait for it to arrive in 2 days or less. Now with Amazon fashion, I’m a bit more hesitant. I read tons of reviews and really sit on the thought of if I really need the item. Most of the time, I don’t. (But I will pin it on Pinterest, just in case). However, there are some items that I’ve been seeing other bloggers style that I just can’t get out of my head. They are cute, cozy,…

    Bridgerton Inspired Fashion Finds

If you’re like me, you finished Bridgerton just a short week (or less) after it came out. I think I clicked past a few people on Instagram saying they had watched it after Christmas and I thought, “I’m not one to jump on trendy shows”. I skipped on Tiger King entirely, and I only watch Love is Blind because Michael started it. Then while scrolling through Netflix after New Years, it came up. From first picture, I was hooked. I looked at Michael and said “That’s Bridgerton?” When am I not going to watch a time period piece? Play. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links,…

2020 Gift Guide for the Holiday Season

So I’ve really been thinking about it and, while I do love looking at gift guides, it’s not really my main source of holiday shopping. A gift guide is full of great ideas, especially if you’re feeling uninspired in 2020. But, I still believe that a thoughtful and personal gift is better than any generic gift. Which is why my gift guides tend to think of certain people in my life and what they would like or need. So I encourage you to do the same. I hope this 2020 gift guide will help inspire you & think of your favorite people. Who knows, maybe your friends & family are…

    Amazon Prime Day 2020 Picks

So I’ve known about Prime Day for a few weeks now and I wasn’t really planning on writing anything for it. I mean, I already write 3 post a week and life just feels crazy right now. Not in a bad way, just very busy. But as the past weekend (and Monday) went on, I had some request come in for affordable fashion. And where else would you look other than Amazon? Especially on Amazon Prime day. So I’m rounding up some of my fashion favorites right now on Amazon. Sun Hats Perfect for Summer & the Beach

If there’s one thing I’ve invested my money into since moving to Florida it would have to be sun hats. Funny enough, I still get some heat from family and friends for wearing them. As a little girl I remember going to church every Sunday and having to wear a sun hat. I hated them. They made me feel like a child (said 6 year old me, a child). Now I’m grown up and I’m sure my mom remembers back in the day when I’d fight against wearing them. I’ve come to love especially large sun hats because they protect my skin even more than just sunscreen. Since I get…

Target Collaborations – Designer Dress Collection

Target just released one of their latest collaborations, the designer dress collection. This collection features designers such as LoveShackFancy, Cushnie, and my personal favorite, Marie Fernandez. Target Collaborations have been going on for years. From Lilly Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines to Hunter Boots. While some may complain that these collabs really don’t do anything for either companies, I beg to differ. The quality of clothing is held to the same designer standard. However, the styles offered through the collaborations are much more affordable for the everyday consumer. To me, that’s a win win, both for Target and collaborating brands & designers. The current designer dress collection is no different and…

    Summer Maxi Dresses Under $100

Summertime is my favorite time of year. I know a lot of people end up hating the hot and humid weather after a week or two but I personally love it. Who cares if I’m sweating my butt off, the sun is out and I’m happy. I do try to be practical with my summer outfits though. Usually I wear a lot of shorts, light dresses, and mini skirts to keep cool. Recently however, I’ve been trying to add more cotton and linen styles to my closet so that I can wear a wider variety of things. I’m talking jumpsuits and maxi dresses that I can wear in summer. Just…

Straw, Raffia, and Rattan, Oh My!

Straw, raffia, and rattan. What a mouth full! While I would assume most people know what straw is in one way, shape, or form, raffia and rattan may not be as familiar. I’ll go over quickly what the minor difference is between them all. But most importantly it’s good to know that they are all hot commodities in the fashion world. So here’s the run down, straw accessories is straight forward as it’s strIaw. Raffia is my personal favorite because it originates from the raffia palm. Finally, rattan is more of a type of wicker making it probably the thickest of all the options. When it comes down to it,…
