Hold it, hold it, hold it. There’s no way Thanksgiving is this week, is there? How has November gone by so quickly? And to think, I felt like it would take forever to get here because it’s so late this year. How wrong I was. There’s nothing like eating turkey until you’re completely stuffed, and then stuffing yourself with a slice of pie afterwards anyways. With all the eating and activity that happens on Thanksgiving I find it hard to come up with Thanksgiving outfit ideas. This year however I’ve found two Thanksgiving outfit ideas. One is way more casual while the other is dressy (and more up my ally). Which do you think I should wear on Thursday?

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
I don’t think wearing a white shirt is my brightest idea on Thanksgiving. It just so happens that all my white shirts are the most comfortable to wear. The good news is I can always bleach then if I spill some wine or cranberry sauce on them. With my luck I should just plan on wearing an apron all day.
My casual look consist of a loose fit graphic tee and some Lilly Pulitzer joggers. I picked both of these items up from TJ Maxx on separate occasions. While I wasn’t sold on the joggers for quite some time, they’ve really grown on me. They are seriously so comfortable and I can even get away with wearing them to work. I can also easily make this outfit dressier by adding a blazer. Totally more in my comfort zone than just a tee, but hey, whatever is comfortable for you.
My dressy Thanksgiving look uses a leather skirt that I bought back when I was trying to find the perfect pleated leather skirt. I paired this leather skirt with a mock neck tank that I’ve borrowed only half a dozen times from my younger sisters closet. The only reason I might not choose this look for Thanksgiving is because the skirt has no wiggle room. No wiggle room means I can’t eat as much and that’s just not how I roll on Thanksgiving.
