Valentine’s Work Outfit

I’ve always loved dressing for holidays at the office. Whether it’s Christmas, the 4th or July, I’ve always enjoyed matching my outfits to the season. Valentine’s Day is no different when it comes to picking a work outfit. In fact, I’ve worn a Valentine’s inspired work outfit every day since the beginning of February.

While my favorite color combination to wear this month is pink and red, I also enjoy more muted colors. This light pink mock top paired with a white bottom is classic and not too over the top. Of course, it can also easily be paired with a red skirt or pants to make it a little more extra. I paired it with both a skirt and pants and loved the way both looks came out. Typically I choose a skirt over pants, but February has been unusually cold in Florida this year. So pairing this mock neck with white pants was a great alternative for the chillier days.

For a wintery Parisian look I paired this mock neck with a skirt and white beret. I’ve really come to love berets because they don’t get too hot, which is perfect for Florida. And finally, I finished off both outfits with my Sarah Flint Natalie flats. They’re a great classic shoe with a feminine bow touch. The Natalies have become one of my most worn shoe because they’re not only work appropriate, but also chic and comfortable. It may have taken a little convincing to finally invest in them, but the $50 off incentive and raving reviews finally helped my dip my toes into the comfortable shoes.
