Wear, Wash, Repeat – Rewearing Outfits

Though it may not always seem like it, I promise most fashion bloggers are 100% outfit repeaters. In fact, I wear, wash, and repeat an outfit at least twice a month. Sometimes even more depending on the type of work week I’m having. Today I am re-wearing & re-sharing a fall outfit that I truly adore. I wore it to the pumpkin patch a few years ago, and I’m glad to be sharing it again today. Just goes to show, you can keep items in your closet for more than a season and you can 100000000% wear outfits over and over again.

Pumpkin Patch Classic

First things first, let me take you back to when I originally took photos of this outfit for the blog. I was unemployed but still trying to live my best fall life by visiting the pumpkin patch. Upside? No one goes to the pumpkin patch on week days. Downside? I really could not afford this skirt when I bought it. It was only $15 and I could not afford it y’all. Confession, I even kept the tags on it in those pictures in case I needed to return it so I could use the $15 for actual needs. That was a time I really should have been focusing on the wear, wash, repeat cycle. Luckily I did not have to return the skirt & it’s become my favorite fall piece by far. And I’m in a much better place now than I was two years ago. I have a job again, I’m debt free, and my mental health is stable.

Wash, Wear, Repeat

Fast forward to today. I’ve been repeating outfits like crazy. Not just in real life, but on the blog too. I want to be real with you guys. Which means you should know, I don’t buy new clothes & accessories for every post. However, I do shop A LOT! (Please don’t discount how much I shop). That was happening far before I started this blog though. I love clothes. And I love being trendy. But I don’t like to drop $100 just to be trendy for a month. (Like I really want a quality felt hat right now. But I still think it’s a little too trendy for me). Rest assured, the majority of the clothes in my closet are not bought on a whim (unless there’s a sale. Those are my weakness). But they are calculated and sat on far before I make a purchase. (Hard to believe I know, but it is true). So enjoy the reshoot of this classic fall outfit that I hope to wear for many years to come!
