What I Wore in Napa Valley

Picture this, you’re surrounded by the lush greenery of Napa, sipping a glass of Pinot Nior, in your perfectly curated vineyard outfit. This is what I imagined for myself less than a week ago. I’ve spent probably a month trying to put together the perfect Napa Valley wardrobe. My main source of inspiration has been Meredith Blake from the Parent Trap and Pretty Woman. While none of the outfits are duplicates from the movie, I’d like to think I nailed the overall essence of these fashion icons. (Meredith Blake may be the villain, but you can’t deny she had style). My main color palette for the trip was greens, black and white. I looked for styles that were timeless and had me reminiscing of the 90s.

Napa Valley Vineyards

Our itinerary was jam packed, with 3 vineyards a day for 2 days. Plus, a day in San Francisco. Here’s a quick breakdown of the trip:

  • Day One
    • Castello de Amorosa
    • Raymond Vineyard
    • Beringer Vineyard
  • Day Two
    • Chandon
    • Inglenook Vineyard
    • Coppola Vineyard (Sonoma)
  • Day Three
    • Muir Woods & Travel
  • Day Four
    • San Francisco

As you can see, we fit a lot in in a short amount of time. And while I definitely overpacked, it ended up being the right amount. I wore an outfit during the day and changed each evening for whatever outing we had planned. Here are the outfits I wore while in Napa.

San Fransisco & Muir Woods

When we first arrived at SFO, we did stop at some iconic San Francisco destinations. For instance, the Golden Gate Bridge and In N’ Out. But we still had an hour or so drive to Napa. So we decided to dedicate a whole day to San Francisco before boarding our flight back to Orlando. I didn’t capture every outfit I wore in San Francisco, (again, changing for the evening activities) but here are a couple of outfits I wore in the city, as well as our quick stop at Muir Woods.
