Dun, dun dun! Winter arrived in Florida this week and it was not fun. While Florida typically has very mild winters with lows staying well above the 50° mark, this week was not that. We had lows reaching the 30’s this week in Orlando and I was not about it. Where do I live, Antarctica? However, I did get to practice my styling skills for winter, so that’s fun…Even if I was still freezing the majority of the week 🥶. I’ve found it pretty hard to dress the right way for winter in Florida. (Fall is a little easier because of the accessories and colors you can incorporate). But winter outfit ideas for Florida are a bit harder to come by. I’m ready for my typical lows in the mid-60’s to come back so I can not freeze in these outfits too. (Can you really blame me for not having winter outfit staples?)

5 Winter Outfit Ideas for Warm Climates
There are a handful of items I’ve added to my wardrobe this year that I think really elevate my winter style in Florida. Two major ones being, mock neck tops and over the knee boots. With so many ways to style these items it’s almost unthinkable to run out of winter outfit ideas. Here are my tips for wearing mock necks & OTK boots in Florida.
- Sleeveless, short sleeve, or extremely thin mock neck tops – This will help avoid sweat dripping down your back because it’s still 60+ degrees out. (But also for those colder mornings it was nice to have the neck covered!)
- Pair OTK Boots with shorts or skirts – Ok I am totally guilty of pairing otk boots with jeans and pants. But this week was cold y’all. I’m ready to go back to pairing it with skirts without leggings too.
With all this in mind, here are the outfits I’ve put together for winter in Florida.

Fight the Chill
Of course, I always dream of a winter where I can actually buy winter clothes. Jeans with boots AND a thick sweater (it happened this week). But I just don’t have the wardrobe built for winter. Here’s a few of my favorite Pinterest winter looks right now.
