With February coming to an end, it’s time to pull out those spring transition pieces in your closet. While full on spring mode may still be a few weeks away for some, Florida is well on its way to summer. But no fear I’ve been transitioning my wardrobe pieces to spring for well over a month now. There’s 4 essentials you must have in your wardrobe when going from winter to spring. Without them you could quickly become a popsicle or a puddle of water.

Go To Spring Transition Pieces
Like many places during this season of transition, the weather can be unpredictable. With colder temperatures in the morning and a blistering hot sun in the afternoon, you need to be careful with your wardrobe choices right now. Here are my spring transition pieces that are must haves right now.
Cropped Cardigan
Because the weather can be so unpredictable, having a cardigan on hand in the morning is important. Something that can easily be buttoned up to keep out the chill. Or easily worn over your shoulders when it starts to warm up throughout the day. I’ve been swooning over floral cardigans this season and I can’t get enough of their dainty details.
Quarter Sleeve T-Shirt
Similar to the cardigan and is a 3 quarter sleeve t-shirt. It’s a great sleeve length to transition with as it’s not too short or too long. My favorite quarter sleeve t-shirts tend to be one’s with stripes. Can you tell?
Midi Dress
I’m a dress girl through and through, so if you didn’t think a dress was making this list of spring transition essentials, you’re wrong. In particular, a midi length dress is perfect for spring. It still gives great coverage on your legs if it happens to be cold. But also allows for a breeze when it gets hotter out during the day.
Jeans or Jean Shorts
Depending on where you live, a pair of cropped jeans or jean shorts are exactly what the winter to spring transition calls for. In Florida, I’ve been wearing my shorts more and more during the day. But if I know I have an evening out, I’ll opt for a pair of jeans instead.
