Annabelle’s

If you’re an Orlando local you probably know all about downtown Orlando’s little communities, each with their own individual small town vibe. One of my favorites is College Park. I love how the street names are named after a range of colleges, like Princeton and Yale, and love the eclectic collection of shops and restaurants. One of my new found favorite shops in College Park is Annabelle’s. It’s the sweetest little boutique with everything from clothing to all your party hosting needs. It’s not a large space so it’s a little unorganized, but it is the most perfect cram packed mess I have ever seen. I seriously wanted to buy everything but restrained because you know, budgets. One of the things that I love about Annabelle’s is it’s not just filled with local goodies but a lot of brands that you can find online as well. For instance, I found this gem of a cover up at Annabelle’s that is MudPie brand. So while it was sold out in my size at Annabelle’s I can still shop online at MudPie. It’s also great if you’re like me and like to walk away from things that you really love (and then regret not getting them in the first place because when you go back to get it it’s GONE). They also have brands like Corkcicle, Slant Collections, and Scout. To top it off, Annabelle’s has flowers all around, in every nook and cranny of the store. Could it be anymore precious!? Small shops are especially perfect for souvenir shopping to get someone a classy (not tacky or cliche) momento from your time in Central Florida.

Another great thing about shopping local boutiques in your area is the fact that you can find items for way cheaper than other stores. Take the striped bag above for instance, I found it on the web in turquoise, pink, and the blue that you see in the photos here (but it’s sold out). Now I know these aren’t the same brand and that they have minor differences in appearances, but they have a HUGE difference in price. In Annabelle’s this bag was under $50 and these bags online are over $100. I don’t know about you but all I hear is *cha-ching*! Besides the prices, these types of stores can have products from past season, which is something else I love about them. What are your favorite small shops where you live? I’d love to check them out!
