Now is the time for everyone to run around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to round up all those school supplies. Personally, I love this time of year and I desperately wish I was still in school so I could shop for all of it. In college it was still a ton of fun, if not more so, because you got to dorm room shop! So, even though I’m not going back to school, I’m sharing my favorite back to school essentials I’ve seen this season! Enjoy!

The Planners
Whether it’s books, a notebook, or a laptop, these bags have you covered. I’ve been in the market for a new laptop bag and while I love the “briefcase” look (especially for the workplace) I feel like they’re way more expensive for way less bag. I’m personally not opposed to a backpack in the work place and have been seeing more and more people make this switch, so I might have too as well!

I’ve rounded up my favorite “paper” items from planners, to notebooks, to clipboard notepads. My favorite thing about a notebook or planner is when they match your personality (aren’t we all very busy?). When I was younger I seriously had an obsession with decorating my plain notebooks with all the things that I loved (and yes that did include Zac Efron in his High School Musical days *dreamy*).

The Pen VS. Pencil Debate rages on! I’m honestly more of a pencil person but lately I’ve been using the color coating system and love these Paper Mate felt tip pens for that! Still, I always have a pencil handy because I’m so prone to mistakes. None of that gaudy orange/bright yellow #2 pencils though, these Yoobi pencils are sure to keep you calm no matter how many bubble scantrons you have to fill out!

For all those other school and office necessities that make your space “you”. I am a gold lover through and through so I loved this tape dispenser and paperclips! How cute are those coffee paperclips?! We all know how hard college is without our caffeine fix, and this is just the perfect way to show off your addiction! Also, these tortoise desk accessories are to die for. And the “a stroke of genius” quote on the pencil holder never hurt anyones motivation.
