As much as I know I won’t be living in a dorm again any time soon (or ever) that never seems to stop me from looking at gorgeous dorm rooms. I mean honestly, some people these days really go above and beyond on dorm room decor. It makes me wish I had been a little fancier in my dorm living days. But at the same time I choose a lot of functionality over aesthetic when it came to dorm living. Which is totally fine. If I had the chance to decorate a dorm again though, even just for fun, I’d probably try to add a little more aesthetic to it.
As I stated in my last dorm post featuring PB Teen, many items from my dorm days have transitioned with me into adult life. Yes, even 7 years later I’m still using many of the same duvets, blanket, and pillows as I did back then. If I had known then that they would stick with me this long, I would’ve invested more in my dorm room. However, many of the items I bought as dorm room decor were thought more of temporary necessities for the year. (Things like, bed shelves, no tools bookshelves, and printed wall art). But times have changed and people are looking to create an aesthetic environment to come back to after classes. Therefore, I wanted to share just a few truly stunning dorm rooms that I’ve found via Pinterest. And share a few items that I think would work perfectly to recreate them.

Aesthetically Pleasing Dorm Room Decor
I remember “designer dorm rooms” being a thing when I started college. Interior designers would basically come in and give your entire dorm room a face lift. I was always a little bit skeptical because it sounded like it would be expensive and like you’d have to take down half the stuff that was put up because of code. While I still find it a little absurd, I think Pinterest is a great tool to use to glam up your dorm room, even if it’s just with some new decor this year.
