I’ve been renting from both Nuuly & Rent the Runway for about half a year now. While I love renting every brand I can get my hands on, there’s a brands in particular that I adore renting. Not only does renting these brands allow me to wear something unique, but it also gives me the opportunity to wear something I couldn’t otherwise afford. Renting is not only great on your wallet, but also god for the environment. Since I started renting I spend less, and have less waste sitting in my closet. I can’t even begin to tell you how many items I’ve bought to wear only once. Then it either sits in my closet for a lifetime or goes into a donation pile. So getting to rent has really changed a lot for me.

Brands I Love from Nuuly
Nuuly and Rent the Runway offer many of the same brands, but Nuuly offers some that Rent the Runway doesn’t (and vice versa). My all time favorite brand to rent from Nuuly is Selkie. Most Selkie dresses start at around $200. Thus far I’ve been able to rent 4 Selkie dresses with Nuuly (with another on the way). When you get to rent 6 pieces for only $80 a month, that means I’ve rented all of them for less than $80. Selkie’s not the only brand I love to rent from Nuuly, below is a list of brands that I also love.
All of these are brands that I wouldn’t really be able to afford in the real world. Sister Jane is fairly reasonable in price and goes on sale more often than the others, but I like being able to get 6 pieces for less than a single item cost from any of these brands.
Rent the Runway Brands
There is no doubt that Rent the Runway offers more brands than Nuuly. However, it seems harder to be able to rent items because of limited stock or such. Rent the Runways has brands like Lilly Pulitzer and Kate Spade, both which I love. However, those aren’t brands I rent from them. Instead, I rent higher end brands that cost more. Below is a list of my favorites.
