Time to show you guys how I styled this set from Target in a different way! (In the same day!) I’ve always had this love for long tiered skirts and dresses. But being petite, I never allowed myself to even consider wearing midi or maxi items. I remember the first maxi dress I saw. It was in TJ Maxx and I was still in high school. Maybe it was because it was flat out ugly that I gave the excuse that I could never wear something so long. (I also felt this way about jumpsuits. But again, the jumpsuits I had seen were ugly). Up until the past few years I felt the same way about most maxi dresses and skirts that I saw. But now that I’ve gotten my feet wet and fallen in love with long everything, it was time to try a tiered skirt. I’d love to pick up a multi print, multi tiered skirt, but that will just have to wait for another day.

Tiered Skirt Set or Separates?
This tiered skirt allowed me to explore my other new found love, matching sets. It was a win win all the way around. Target has particularly been killing it this year with so many options to great matching sets. What rocks about buying a set is the multitude of ways you can wear them. For instance, this skirt doesn’t just have to be worn with it’s coordinating top. And the top doesn’t have to be worn with just the tiered skirt. In fact, I wore the set together for church in the morning, and then went home and changed into a t-shirt. Same day, same skirt, different outfit. Honestly, I think I might like this skirt better with the t-shirt. (Am I even allowed to say that? I just endorsed sets I feel like). Which makes me look forward to wearing this top with other things throughout spring and summer. Lilly shorts? Jeans? A different skirt?! Who knows where the possibilities will lead me for both the top and this tiered skirt.

Sadly, I’m rather late to your blog. But, I absolutely LOVE your style and you are gorgeous! I LOVE how much you wear Keds, especially the white Champions! I live in a rural area, and haven’t seen them as much the past two years, but I’m so glad that you are a fan of them. They (and other Keds) are just the best to style with anything! I love my Keds and definitely need a new pair of the white! I also wear them with no socks (unless it’s their boots, but that’s a different story).
