If anyone ever told you you can’t wear a dress and be casual, they’re wrong. My favorite thing in the world is a casual, comfy dress. I do enjoy planning my outfits but a lot of times it’s easier to just jump out of bed and grab a dress. This Lilly Pulitzer T-shirt dress is exactly what I’m talking about. It’s easy to throw on and super lightweight for those hot summer days. No other dress could be better for a casual beach outfit.
I particularly love this dress on a beach or lake day. If I get in the water it’s easy to change into without it sticking to you in all the wrong places. (We all know what I’m talking about). I paired this dress with one of my favorite ball caps. I bought the hat at J.Crew but they no longer have in stock. Of course I couldn’t visit South Florida without wearing my Jacks.
It was just the perfect night out on the water. Me and my man picked up some dinner at Panera and then headed east for the water. We ate on the beach and enjoyed a setting sun and slightly cooler temperatures. After some time on the sand we walked along the inner coastal and enjoyed the beautiful houses. What better way to enjoy this casual beach outfit?
