Love is in the air! I’ll try not to spoil too much in this post, but all my bridesmaids have picked their dresses! I haven’t seen them all together in person, but I know it’s going to be stunning. My only requirement for my bridesmaids going in was to stick with a soft pastel color palette of blush pinks, sage greens, and dusty blues. I thought, and still think that these colors are perfect for any and all spring bridesmaid dresses. I also mentioned that I loved the idea of a floral print for bridesmaid dresses. However, it was not a requirement and I tried not to push the idea…

Lace Dress with an Open Back
Brides, are you looking to be ultra classy but still show a little skin? This lace dress with an open back is the best of both worlds. It’s timeless, elegant, and so chic. Quilted Skirt and Jacket Set
I’ve been dying to try this quilted trend for over a year now, but didn’t want to waste the money on it if I didn’t love it. While there were plenty of splurge worthy quilted items out there, I still wasn’t comfortable taking the plunge. Luckily, I have signed up for rental subscriptions this past year as well so I finally get to try this trend. Needless, to say, I’m glad that I waited. Not because I don’t love it, but because this quilted set is far beyond my expectations. The floral print on this skirt and jacket is exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for. It adds…

Bridal Style – A Collection of Bridal Outfits
Since I got engaged it seems all I want to think about is bridal style. White everything, with maybe a hint of blue, is absolutely the season I am thriving in right now. With just a couple short months until the wedding, I plan to revel in this season as much as possible! So today I’m rounding up some of my favorite bridal outfits that I’ve worn thus far. Rest assured that bridal style doesn’t stop there as I have my bachelorette coming up at the end of the month! Winter White Bow Top
White and blue typically aren’t what you might think as winter colors. However, when they’re done right you may start to think otherwise. White is a particularly nice color for winter since it mimics snow. (If you get snow where you live that is). As someone who lives in Florida, snow is pretty much out of the question. However, if I’m wearing all white, I can get away with covering up a little more skin than I’m used to without melting like Frosty the snowman. Bow Back Dress
One of my all time favorite things are bows. Whether it’s a hair bow, a bow on a package, or a bow back dress, I can’t get enough of them. Especially when it comes to this Kate Spade bow back dress. I found it in TJ Maxx quite a few years ago now and always love to pull it out around the holidays. It’s not exactly red, but it’s the perfect shade of holiday pink! Not to mention, there’s really nothing more perfect than a giant bow for Christmas. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you I may make…

Traditional Wedding Earrings
There’s many aspects of my wedding that I’d consider non-traditional. At the same time, I’d still consider myself a traditional bride. I suppose this fits as I’ve never been one that is super trendy. Though I indulge in trends from time to time, I always come back to my fashion roots. This goes for everyday fashion as well as bridal fashion. And it’s no different when it comes to bridal accessories. In fact, I’d say the most traditional aspect of my wedding will be how I accessorize. Particularly with my rings and earrings. Winter Blue
The beautiful thing about fashion is, there’s really no rules. You make up the own rules to create your own unique style. While some colors certainly fit more in a season, (ie: orange and brown for fall, pastels for spring, etc.) there’s no real rule saying what you can and can’t wear. Heck, even the “no white after Labor Day” is a complete lie. However, you may still want to feel like you’re dressing for a certain season. Even if it’s not in the widely accepted color palette. That’s how I feel about wearing blue in winter. It’s not exactly a winter color (unless your’e Elsa). But with some styling…

Tartan Jacket for the Holidays
I’ve said it before and I still stand by this statement – tartan is the perfect print for the holidays. So when I saw this tartan jacket available to rent in my size, I immediately snagged it. While I prefer a red tartan for the holidays, this jacket was still so festive. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I wore it in the short month I rented it, and it wasn’t even December yet! I have tried being festive with tartan pants in the past but, they didn’t fit right and I never felt confident when wearing them. Though, had I kept them and they fit…
