Spring Bridesmaid Dresses

Love is in the air! I’ll try not to spoil too much in this post, but all my bridesmaids have picked their dresses! I haven’t seen them all together in person, but I know it’s going to be stunning. My only requirement for my bridesmaids going in was to stick with a soft pastel color palette of blush pinks, sage greens, and dusty blues. I thought, and still think that these colors are perfect for any and all spring bridesmaid dresses. I also mentioned that I loved the idea of a floral print for bridesmaid dresses. However, it was not a requirement and I tried not to push the idea too hard. After all, I want everyone to love what they wear.

Floral & Pastel Bridesmaid Dresses

In my hunt for inspiration I found myself going back to the designer Jenny Yoo and her spring 2020 collection. Her colors and florals were exactly what I conjured up in my spring wedding dreams. I didn’t want a floral that was going to be too in your face. Jenny Yoo has a watercolor floral that is the perfect amount of abstract that is light and soft. So even though the floral is there, it doesn’t overwhelm or take away from the dress.

Jenny Yoo can be a little pricey though and you might have to order through an actual store. That’s not everyone’s cup of tea. So if you’re looking for floral bridesmaid dresses (or just a soft floral gown) you’re in luck! Why? Because Birdy Grey and Style Me Pretty just released their bridesmaid collaboration! The florals are breathtaking and they are all under $100!

Everyday Color Inspo

I’ve noticed that I’ve been drawn to dusty blues and sage greens throughout the past year or so, even before I was engaged. Neely & Chloe had a collaboration with Julia Berolzheimer that embodies everything romantic. The floral design on the bag and even the tags are just one source of inspiration for spring bridesmaid dresses.

Another source of inspiration are books. I love a classic leather bound book thats been worn down by love. Dusty and faded colors are a sign of respect for books. But I also have many books that are vibrant in color. There are 3 books in my library that I particularly love, both in color and for reading.
