Have y’all heard of ditsy floral prints? It might sound a little offensive but all it is a small floral print. Ditsy florals are always hot in spring and summer. I’ve never had a true floral dress, let alone a ditsy floral. This ruched dress is one of the items that I bought from the Nordstrom sale a couple weeks ago. I wasn’t planning on buying the dress but it was such a great price and I wanted to try something new. Needless to say, I love it. It’s form fitted but doesn’t show off my belly after I’ve had a Chipotle burrito. This is probably because of the ruching, at least that’s what Say Yes to the Dress would tell me. I never believed it until now though. Ruching really is a girls best friend.

Ditsy Floral with Neighborhood Flowers
I had this vision in my head for of photos in this dress that had blue and white flowers everywhere. Wouldn’t you know it, there’s a lot of flowers around Florida but for the life of me I couldn’t find a spot that matched the vision in my head. So I took a drive to try and find a backdrop that fit with it instead of finding the exact match. It was nice to just get out of the house for a 3 mile drive and then a short walk that wasn’t my neighborhood. Sometimes all we need is a change in scenery to lift our spirits and spark creativity.

This dress is only available in limited sizes currently but still for a great price. I think I like the ditsy floral print the best in a blue color, at least for spring. It reminds me of clouds in a blue sky. Since the exact dress has limited sizing I’ve also included some similar looks that are equally as flattering and perfect for spring.
