Happy Memorial Day 2019! Today is a day to remember those who have given up their lives for our freedom. This Memorial Day I’m partaking I’m some guilty pleasure shopping but also cheers-ing to those people.
White Pants Season!
Memorial Day is kind of that unofficial start to summer and the official start of white pants season! That is of course, if you follow the rules. Admittedly, I just bought my first pair of white pants a month or so ago. They always sounded like such a bad idea, what if I spilled something? Low and behold, when I took these pictures I ended up getting something red on them. I don’t even know from what, but it required bleach to get out. A worthy price to pay? I have yet to decide. But I do love how much they go with in my wardrobe so expect to see them a few more times this summer.
Memorial Day Outfit
What better way to honor our freedom than wearing red white and blue? I bought this top from the Victoria’s Secret outlet in Orlando for less than $8. A pretty great deal if you ask me. As for the pants, I purchased them from old navy around the same time. They’re comfortable and light with quite a bit of stretch. I topped it all off with a festive red Kate Spade bag and some new statement earrings that I’m trying to get in the swing of.
