I was immediately drawn to this skirt when I was shopping in Plato’s Closet. I’m not sure if it was the color or the pattern that made it so magnetic but it didn’t take much for me to say “sold”! The stripes are so graphic and remind me of those optical illusion books in the kids section of Barnes & Noble. This graphic, stark pattern is combined with the most gorgeous blue in the world. It is that perfect summer sky blue and I wish I had everything in this color. This skirt is like a kite flying high overhead, without a worry in the world. That’s how I feel in this outfit, completely care free with my head in the clouds. Which might explain why I typically wear this outfit on a Sunday, so that I don’t stress about the upcoming week but focus on enjoying my weekend to the fullest. Who knew an outfit could do that for you? It’s a complete breath of fresh air and I might start wearing this every weekend just to keep this feeling.
