At this point we are in the full swing of fall. Maybe Florida only has a few days of fall weather here and there but my closet is still prepared for all things fall. Today I’m rounding up some fall essentials that you should have in your closet, no matter where you live. These items are necessities (and dare I say essentials for more than just fall).

Jeans & A Midi Skirt
For someone who doesn’t like jeans I sure say the “j” word a lot. However, I have finally invested in a new pair of jeans (this is my first pair since like, the 10th grade). Needless to say, I love them. Even though I haven’t had a real opportunity to wear them yet I’m looking forward to cooler days when I can!
A midi skirt is another fall closet essential. I’ve just gotten into midi skirts within the past few year and love them. As a petite woman I was always worried that they just wouldn’t look good on me. Turns out it doesn’t matter what shape or size you are, midi skirts look great on everyone. Currently I have my eyes peeled for a silk midi skirt for fall.
Layering Fall Essentials
Cashmere Cardigans, Denim Jackets, Vests, and Capes. I know, that’s kind of a lot but I can’t even begin to tell you how I’ve up-ed my layering game (and overall fall wardrobe) with these items. I’ve had a denim jacket and puffer vest for a few years now and they really are great layering pieces. This year I’ve explored more layer options and added both a cashmere cardigan and a cape to my wardrobe. A cashmere cardigan is an item that has been on my list for a very, very long time. I scored a Lilly Pulitzer cardigan from TJ Maxx earlier this year and it is amazing. It’s soft, warm, and just fits perfectly. Definitely a must have for any cozy fall lovers.
Quarter Sleeve Tees
I’ve talked about how classic I think a quarter sleeve is many, many times. They are perfect for any weather. Hot, cold, breezy, sunny, you name it. You can never go wrong with a quarter sleeve tee. Pair this tee with any of the above layers and you’ll be sure to have a great, and complete, fall outfit.
