Fall Skirt Selections to Add to Your Closet

Just because the temperature changes doesn’t mean you have to stop wearing the things you love. Personally, I love to wear skirts and dresses. It doesn’t matter the time of year, or how cold, I’ll always find a way to wear them. While everyones style is different I think there are 4 great skirt options for fall. You can even combine a few of these if you’re not a huge skirt person but still want to try some out. However, I mostly wear skirts and dresses so the more, the merrier. (One of each, then one of each combined, then…oh you get the point. I have a lot of skirts).

A Fall Skirt for Everyone

Whether you like wearing mini, midi, or maxi skirts, there’s a way to wear them in fall. My personal favorite is actually to wear a mini skirt in fall with some over the knee boots. Maybe it’s because I live in Florida, or maybe because it makes my legs look a mile long. Either way, a mini skirt and OTK boots combo is a look I repeat over and over in fall. (Also, don’t let Gen Z tell you OTK boots are “out”. They are most certainly “in”. And always will be. It’s called classic).

Midi skirts are something I’ve been getting into over the past couple of years. (Though they tend to look more like maxis on me). However, knit midi skirts are something I’ve been dying to try since last fall. Overall, I think they’re a great fall skirt and can work with pretty much anything. Pair a knit midi with some calf boots or booties and you have the perfect fall look.

As mentioned above, most midi skirts look like maxi skirts on me. Therefore it’s hard to tell what length is really what. But, maxi skirts are great for fall because of their length. The more leg that’s covered, the less chill to let in. (If you don’t live in Florida, that is). Maxi skirts I think are extra great because you can pair them with just about any kind of shoe, including OTK boots! While a mini skirt will also be my go to this time of year, there’s no doubt there’s a skirt for everyone.
