Hold the Phone! A few weeks ago (ok, more than that now) my friend Conor from high school reached out. Conor has been a guest on Central Florida Chic before and he asked if he could be the star once again! (Those 5 minutes of fame can really get to ya 😉). He came with a list of fall style ideas already in mind and I thought it was totally awesome! Of course I had to let him be a guest again! (Especially with all the content ideas he came up with). So let’s give it up for Conor!

Hi, I’m Conor
Hey there again, for those who don’t remember I did a takeover of this page a couple of years ago and I’m back and ready for more! While I’m a bit further south than upstate NY this time around (Delaware) I’m still probably experiencing cooler weather than you lucky Floridians. I figured I’d throw a couple of outfits your way for if the weather ever dips below 70 down there in the land of sunshine and oranges.
Conor’s Fall Style – Outfit #1
For any sports fans out there, this time of year has been a real jumble with, baseball, hockey, basketball, and football all competing for our attention. So why not get out there and rep our favorite team(s)? A jersey goes well with just about anything, be it shorts, jeans, a skirt, or your favorite pair of sweatpants. So even if you’re out there hitting home runs, dunking on defenders, making slapshots in OT, or throwing dimes for touchdowns you can still score some points at home or on the field with a jersey or two ready to go.
Outfit #2
Autumn is the best season. Not a question, a statement. It’s when the weather gets cooler and the fashion trend gets “cozy”. On those cooler days nothing works better, in my opinion, than a flannel and jeans. I trend towards darker colors. But the magic of flannels is that they come in just about any color combo you can think of. Find your comfiest jeans (I’m a fan of American Eagle flex fit) and that favorite flannel (Vans in my case) and enjoy the Autumn weather. I’ll be out there trying to learn a trick or two and finding the treat that is the perfect pumpkin.
Outfit #3
Have you ever experienced the confounding weather that is Fall? Chilly in the morning then, suddenly, hot by early afternoon? Well here’s an outfit for you. Shorts and a windbreaker. Warm enough to keep you going in the morning and then cool enough so you don’t sweat yourself into a puddle later in the day. The nice thing about windbreakers is that they don’t have to ‘break’ the bank. In a pinch, they can double as a light raincoat for those drizzly Fall days. So get this outfit ready for those chilly (socially distanced) hayrides and corn mazes. As well as those long hot afternoons of raking leaves cause it’ll keep comfy whenever you need it.
My Matching Fall Style
When Conor started telling me all his outfit ideas I immediately started thinking “well how would I wear that in Florida?”. So I decided to put my brain to work and mimic his outfits, but in a way more appropriate for the south. Quite honestly, some of these trendy looks were already on my bucket list to try this year. But I guess Conor beat me to it. When the time comes around for these trends to have their own post, I’ll be sure to mix up these fall style options.
