Printed Maxi Dress – Dolce & Gabbana Dupe

I have been waiting for what feels like a lifetime to make this post! For the life of me I couldn’t tell you why I didn’t make it sooner. Other more pressing outfits to show I suppose. Or maybe I deemed this maxi dress “inappropriate” for work and have been waiting for it to come up in my weekend rotation. Whatever the case, I’ve waited too long!

Dolce & Gabbana Maxi Dress Dupe

I first shared this maxi dress in my Amazon designer dupes post. It had been screaming my name since before Covid. Covid gave me the perfect opportunity to buy and wear it at home for what seemed like months. Since going back to work in May it seemed like I’d never get to wear this Dolce & Gabbana dupe dress again. I’ve had to go through a lot of dresses to get to it again. If I can’t wear something to work I will wear it on the weekend. As you may imagine, there’s a lot I don’t think I can wear to work. Therefore, it takes some time to get back to certain items in my closet. Hopefully that long drawn out explanation makes sense. If not, don’t worry. All you really need to know is that I’m wearing it now!

Dupe Pricing

So clearly there are some differences between this dupe dress and the actual Dolce & Gabbana Dress (both pictured below). However, for under $40 you can’t beat this dupe. Sure it may not have the nice fabric of the real dress, or the embellishment, but from far away (and pictures) you can’t really tell the difference. The dupe dress is all polyester, so not the nicest fabric for summer as it doesn’t breath. Overall, I wanted this maxi dress for the Dolce & Gabbana vibe, not because I need to show of how much money I can spend on clothes. (Let’s be honest, I can spend a ton of money on less than decent clothes). This Amazon seller actually has a ton of gorgeous dupe dresses from multiple designers. Most are under $50. My best guess is that they are all a similar polyester fabric. Regardless, there’s a few more dresses from them that have caught my eye and I just might need come fall.
