While kids start to go back to school (either in person or online) I wonder if any parents and adults are going back to work. I’ve personally been back in the office since the end of May and so far…so good. My work from home outfits have again turned into my go to work outfits. With all the purchases I made while working from home (gosh darn sales) I’ve been able to put together a handful of new work outfits. Including using this floral blouse to create the perfect summer work outfit.

Styling a Floral Blouse for Work
The really great thing about this floral blouse is that it pretty much goes with every work bottom I own. That’s probably due to the fact that all my work bottoms are solid colors but hey, who knows that other than me. (And now you…) To make this outfit overall summer-y I went with a light pencil skirt. This beige skirt pairs perfectly with the floral blouse and I just love how comfortable it is. I could have also paired it with a white pencil skirt or white pants to keep the outfit summer-y, but I chose comfort.
When it comes to be fall I’ll likely pair this blouse with a black pencil skirt. It should pair nicely with the muted blue and create a great fall work outfit. I’ve also though about pairing it with a pink pencil skirt and black blazer for fall. This would be fun while still playing into some fall trends like jackets and darker colors.
Back to a New Normal?
I really am hoping I’m not the only one back to a new type of normal. It certainly has been interesting being back in the office since the stay at home order, but overall it’s been decent. Luckily I don’t sit near anyone and have more than 6ft, plus screens, between me and my coworkers. But it’s also hard to remember to then put on a mask when you have to go see someone about something. But I guess that’s just the new normal now.
